Apple yesterday sent out emails to the media and updated their events website to inform the public about a new Special event themed "Hi, Speed", almost a month after the Time Flies September event where the Apple Watch SE and Series 6 alongside the new A14 powered iPad Air. The event has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 13 at 5:00 p.m. on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
Prior to the official announcement, Jon Prosser an Apple leaker and YouTuber who has been accurate and has deservedly gained more popularity predicted both the September and October events though many were in doubt. The fact that no iPhone was released during last month's Time Flies event also hinted at another event this year.
What to Expect from Apple's October 13th Event
We expect Apple to announce at least 3 iPhones—iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max which will ship without charging adapters.
From the event's theme, it is also highly likely that Apple will announce a 5G capable iPhone during the event.
Other devices that could be revealed during the event include the very anticipated AirTags—Apple's Bluetooth trackers that can be stuck on keys, and other items so they can be tracked via the FindMy app on iOS, a new earwear (AirPods) and probably an ARM-based Mac.
How to watch the Apple Event
Since Apple WWDC (World Wide Developers' Conference), all the Apple events have been digital (online-only) including last month's Time Flies event and next week's event. The event can be streamed on the Apple TV app, Apple's website, on its YouTube channel where the event's placeholder has been already prepared and scheduled, or on DE JAY'S BLOG on the day of the event.
