Samsung has had a pretty good year in the smartphone sector after releasing the S and Note series which offer top of the line specs that we have come to expect over the years. Due to the different variants that the S and Note offer you might say there are enough options there but Samsung thinks not. The S series this year is already made up of the S10, S10+, S10e and S10 5G with the Note also offering Note 10 and Note 10+, but it seems that they are not done yet as some latest leaked information points to the introduction of new devices under their S10 and Note 10 series. The devices to be released are rumoured to be the lite versions of the S10 and Note 10 and will be named as such, S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite.

According to the leaks from Sam Mobile, these Lite versions of the S10 and Note 10 will the next devices to be released by the company and it is likely to release before the end of 2019. The reason for this move by Samsung could be to help them compete with their competitors who release their devices in the last quarter of the year. Another reason for this could be because the iPhone 11 is selling so well due to the pricing and therefore Samsung’s answer to that is the Lite. From the information we have about the Lite version of the S10, it is going to come with a snapdragon 855 chipset, 8GB RAM and an internal storage space of 128GB with an option to expand. It is going to come with a 4500mAh which is a bigger battery when compared to the S10e and S10 which is surprising but a bigger battery is always better so no complaints there.
It will also have a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera along with a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel depth camera. The front camera with be 32-megapixel shooter for selfies. The screen is going to be full HD+ instead of AMOLED on the S10e and S10+ but will have a bigger display at 6.7-inch. It will have 45W fast charging which is also neat. On the Note 10 Lite, not much is known except for the colours it is going to come in which are Red and Black. The phone will be available in Asia and Europe before the end of the year.

We do expect it to come with the S Pen and all it’s features because it can not be a note without it. We also expect it to have a Full HD+ screen like the S10 Lite but with a smaller display. What could make this phone a success could be the pricing which if done right, could end up making the Lite a staple of the S and Note series from now onward.
